COVID Vaccine: Tamil Nadu will receive around 5 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine and 20,000 Covaxin doses today that would be despatched to districts by the evening to commence vaccination from January 16. Amid concerns expressed by some frontline health workers in the state over Covaxin, which is yet to complete it's third phase of trials, the state's health secretary says the vaccine is "voluntary and the fears are unfounded".
