As COVID-19 continue to surge in Ontario, medical experts there are warning that the province is nearing the COVID-19 triage protocol, where doctors we'll be forced to decide which patients live and which will die.

And as the strain continues on front line workers, union members with ORNGE paramedics have voted in favour of a strike if necessary, as they contend with a provincial wage cap law amid the crisis.

Ontario reported 3,723 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 470,465.

For comparison, last Sunday 3,947 cases were reported.
