Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe on Tuesday said that as the province saw another 58 new cases and a high number of active cases of COVID-19, it was time for people to reevaluate their daily conduct, including whether they’re wearing masks and abiding by public gathering limits.

He added as Christmas approaches for some, they should pay “very close attention” to their conduct.

Moe said chief medical officer Dr. Saqib Shahab would be speaking in the coming days in terms of the demographics of infection rates, with an increase among youth, some of which he said are related to some nightclubs. Moe stated Shahab would be addressing the issue in a "surgical manner," targeting where the issues are as opposed to a "broadbased blanket" approach.
