Across the country, there are calls to do more to protect Canadians in long-term care, with multiple cases, and deaths, being reported in several provinces.
A long-term care home in Scarborough, Ont., has confirmed that 92 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 and 29 have died in its latest outbreak, while Alberta Health Services says it is working closely with an Edmonton long-term care home to manage a deadly outbreak that has infected more than 100 people.
