There are now so many COVID-19 patients in some of Ontario’s hardest-hit regions that hospitals are warning they are nearing capacity.
The province reported 1,487 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, bringing the provincial total to 95,496. This is the 10th straight day that daily case counts have been above 1,000.
Eric Sorensen reports on the growing strain on the system, and a campaign in the province for aggressive new restrictions amid the pandemic.
