Canada: No apology for treatment of British 'Home Children'

One of the last British "Home Children" survivors in Canada has told Sky News their dying wish is to receive an apology from the Canadian government for their role in the migration scheme.

Between 1860 and 1948 Britain sent over 100,000 children across the Atlantic - many of them orphans - with a promise of a better life, but upon arrival many suffered hardship and abuse.

Our US correspondent James Matthews has been speaking to a survivor who just celebrated his 100th birthday.
