Firefighters continued to battle a raging grass fire in central California that has forced evacuations and resisted containment amid high winds.
The fast-moving Corral wildfire has scorched thousands of acres in San Joaquin Valley into charred wasteland on Sunday.
According to an update provided by Cal Fire, the state's firefighting service, the Corral Fire burned through 14,000 acres and was 30 per cent contained.
