Wildfires in California are continuing to rage out of control, despite the efforts of more than 2,500 firefighters to contain them.
The biggest blaze, near Yosemite National Park, has burned its way across huge areas of land and forced thousands of people to flee their homes. Many have been forced to move to temporary shelters.
