Latest B.C. wildfires force thousands from their homes

Gusting winds are expected to exacerbate wildfire conditions across British Columbia, where officials say the number of people under evacuation order went from 4,500 to 15,000 in an hour — while 20,000 more people are under evacuation alert. "The devastation was just unreal," said the fire chief in West Kelowna, where an unconfirmed number of properties were destroyed.
