There were 56 cases of COVID-19 in the province and no additional deaths, B.C. health officials announced during a live press briefing on Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday marked the fourth consecutive day the province reported fewer than 100 new cases. The province's seven-day moving average of daily cases has dropped to 90, the lowest level since Aug. 31.
Of the new cases, 12 were in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 18 were in the Fraser Health region, three were in Island Health, 17 were in Interior Health, and seven were in Northern Health.
The province's COVID-19 death toll remains at 1,743.
