Barbie is recognizing some incredible women internationally who have worked very hard in the fight against COVID-19 in the last year and a half. Mattel, the owner and manufacturer of Barbie, selected 6 frontline heroes internationally who worked exceptionally hard in the fight against COVID-19 and dedicated dolls to them. They each had a chance to design the doll to their likeness. Toronto doctor Chika Stacy Oriuwa was the only Canadian chosen by Barbie for the International Dream gap program. Global’s Sharmeen Somani tells us about her.
