She's already marked a historic 70 years on the throne, but more tributes are still in order for Queen Elizabeth as she celebrates her 96th birthday.

However, the Queen celebrated her birthday Wednesday, away from the noise of the gun salutes and parades in her honour in London.

She instead travelled via helicopter to Sandringham Estate, a favourite residence of her late husband Prince Philip.
