In a daytime exclusive, friend of The Morning Show Simu Liu reflects on his childhood growing up in Canada and updates viewers on his upcoming and highly anticipated ‘Barbie movie’.

“It was an incredible project to be a part of – I got to work with people I consider to be personal heroes and inspirations in the industry. Just incredible, incredible performers – actors, our director Greta (Gerwig) our fearless leader – such a visionary and so talented.”

“It was such a fun environment to be in, lots of singing and dancing and I think you’re going to see all of that on-screen when you watch the movie in July so I’m really excited,” Liu told The Morning Show’s Carolyn Mackenzie.
