The skies above Swedish Lapland were filled with dancing bright green and white pulses of Northern Lights on Thursday night.
Multiple arches of the Aurora Borealis were seen between 9-10 p.m. local time over the snow-covered landscape at Pajala, near the Sweden-Finland border.
At times, the dancing lights had rare red pulses.
According to the local photographer who captured the scene, a Finnish aurora guide brought spectators over the Finnish border to enjoy the unusual display.
