Residents of Fairbanks, Alaska, were treated to a dazzling nighttime light show on Wednesday evening as the aurora borealis became more visible at northern latitudes.
Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve said that the aurora was expected to be active, but that rainy weather usually blocked the view. However, they were treated to a brief spectacle on Sunday night.
