The northern lights dazzled the night skies above various parts of the United Kingdom on Sunday, with some seeing the auroras in southern England.
Parts of northern England, as well as Scotland and Ireland, saw the lights dazzle with a multitude of colours.
An aurora is formed by a solar flare when it erupts from the sun, causing charged particles to interact with the Earth's atmosphere creating the lights.
Officials say the lights could be seen in the coming nights.
