Rescue teams have continued to search for survivors after a major earthquake in Turkey and Greece killed at least 39 people and injured more than 800.

The earthquake was felt all along Turkey's Aegean coast, causing mini tsunamis in many low-lying coastal areas.

The Greek Island of Samos and the Turkish city of Izmir were worst affected.
