Search teams are still scouring the sea for bodies in the wake of a deadly shipwreck near Crotone in Italy last month.

At least 86 people are known to have died in the disaster, which saw a boat carrying migrants and asylum seekers break apart a few hundred meters from shore.

It’s one of the worst wrecks near Italy in the last decade and observers say it highlights the need for reform to the European Union’s migration and asylum policy - one of the bloc’s most toxic political topics.
