A humanitarian crisis is worsening in Afghanistan, as countless people still trapped there remain vulnerable and desperate for help.
Since 2001, Canada has provided $3.6 billion in development assistance to the country. But foreign aid has now largely remained frozen ever since the Taliban reclaimed the country this past summer.
As Jeff Semple reports from Kabul, Afghans who helped Canada run development programs and promote women's rights say they're now being targeted by the militant group, as hope shrinks for any more help coming from Ottawa.
