A 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy were fatally hit by a train on Monday evening.
Toronto police Insp. Keri Fernandes said during a press conference Tuesday morning that just after 10 p.m., the UP Express train was travelling westbound to Toronto Pearson International Airport from Union Station.
Authorities, however, won’t say why it’s believed the victims were on the tracks. Global’s Shallima Maharaj reports.
