Tensions are flaring in Winnipeg after the provincial government decided not to support the search of the Prairie Green landfill for the remains of Indigenous women believed to be dumped at the site in 2022.

It has led to dozens of protesters blocking the Brady Road landfill, with a judge mulling over a possible injunction to remove the blockade.
