‘Greenwashing’ : Climate Change investors prefer ‘Big Oil’

It looks like world oil demand might once again rise back above 100 million barrels per day, a level last reached right before the pandemic. That challenges earlier views that the pandemic was going to curb oil use for good. RT America’s Sayeh Tavangar has the story. Over the last few years climate change focused investment funds have sprung up all over the place. Since 2016, ‘green funds’ have gone from a handful to now topping 200. A new report from Edhec, a French business school think-tank says many companies are ‘green washing’ their actions by secretly undermining these funds and still rewarding companies where eco-performance has actually gotten worse over the years. Bubba Horwitz, market maker, CEO & founder of Bubba Trading and Conservation Biologist, author of Generation Z Emergency Dr. Reese Halter join a panel to share their perspectives.
