President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine is prepared to discuss adopting a neutral status as part of a peace deal with Russia. But the Ukrainian president said it would have to go to a referendum and be guaranteed by third parties.
He made the comments in an interview with independent Russian journalists.
The next round of face-to-face negotiations between Ukraine and Russia take place this week in Turkey.
