Ukraine's proposed peace plan, as well as the latest U.N. proposals to revive the Black Sea grain deal, are "not realistic," claimed Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the United Nations Saturday.
If Ukraine sticks to its 10-point peace proposal, Lavrov said the countries’ conflict will simply end on the battlefield.
Regarding the Black Sea grain deal allowing Ukraine to safely export food amid the war, Lavrov said Russia exited the deal this summer because “everything that was promised to Russia turned out to be a lie.”
