A hazardous waste facility in the Port Weller East area of St. Catharines, Ont. caught fire, forcing people out of nearby houses and businesses.

One employee in the building was taken to hospital in critical condition, and the fire took roughly three hours to contain.

Mike Drolet reports on the investigation of the explosions, the challenges for firefighters and why some residents won't be able to return home for at least one night.
