A new Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found 84 per cent of Canadians are worried that inflation will make everyday things less affordable, with women and young adults aged 18 to 34 especially worried about making ends meet.
Vice-President of Ipsos Sean Simpson said the polling included a snapshot of young families and 60 per cent of those with children were more concerned about putting food on the table, compared to 40 per cent of those families without children.
One in three Canadians also reported they were worried about losing their job should a recession take place.
