A general election is still some way away, but Prime Minister Rishi Sunak seems to be already setting out the Conservative attack lines, focusing on so-called ‘wedge issues’ that could be awkward for the Labour Party.

Labour are sitting around 17 points ahead in the polls but are facing criticism for seeming to roll back on some green policies.
