Wildfire threatening Edson, Alta., less than 2 kilometres from the town

An out-of-control wildfire burning near Edson, Alta., has grown 55 per cent in size in the last 24 hours, and flames are less than two kilometres away from the town. An evacuation order was issued for the town and the neighbouring area of Yellowhead County on Friday.
