Emergency officials in western Canada are urgently trying to account for more than 1,000 people who were forced to flee a wildfire on Wednesday.
It took just 15 minutes for flames to sweep through the village of Lytton, which has been at the centre of an unprecedented heatwave.
The mayor says 90 percent of the area has been destroyed.
