Thousands took to the streets of Madrid to protest against public health service cuts and to call on the regional government to allocate more funding to health workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Nurses, doctors and demonstrators were chanting, banging tambourines and holding signs demanding more staff and opposing cuts in public health.
