A Black British charity worker described on Thursday how she experienced racism from a Royal aide at an event at Buckingham Palace.

Ngozi Fulani, a British-born anti-domestic violence advocate attended the event hosted by King Charles's wife Queen Consort Camilla, and said a royal aide had repeatedly asked her, "What part of Africa are you from?... Where are your people from?"

''No matter how uncomfortable it is for other people to accept, I'm very clear that I experienced racism in an environment that I should have felt safe in,'' Fulani said.

The royal aide has since resigned over the incident.
