In Sudan, dozens of people have been killed this weekend in a fierce power struggle between the army and a powerful paramilitary group called 'The Rapid Support Forces.'
More than 50 civilians are among the dead, with hundreds more people wounded, as the rival groups battle for control of the country. The clashes, centred in and around the capital Khartoum, follow months of heightened tensions that have delayed Sudan's long-anticipated transition to democracy.
