The warring factions in Sudan's ongoing conflict have agreed to send representives to UN-brokered negotiations. Volker Perthes said the talks could be held in Saudi Arabia and would focus first on establishing a durable truce. The breakthrough comes as the violence enters its third week despite several attempts to establish a ceasefire.
