Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov is on tour in Latin America to strengthen alliances as Moscow wages war in Ukraine. Russia is being sanctioned and isolated by the US and EU over its invasion - and is looking to counter western influence. Lavrov's multi-nation tour includes visits to Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba.
