Westminster Accounts: Shapps defends MPs having second jobs

Business Secretary Grant Shapps has told Sky News he does not have "any objections" to MPs having second jobs.

His comments follow the release of the Westminster Accounts, a Sky News and Tortoise Media project aimed at bringing transparency to parliament by showing how much MPs earn and who donates money to them.

Mr Shapps also said the planned minimum service bill will help avoid a "postcode lottery" during strikes, as seen when ambulance workers took action last month.
