Speaking on "The Morning Show," travel expert Marty Firestone has crucial tips for impacted travellers in the event of a WestJet pilots strike.

The union has issued a 72-hour strike notice, which means they could walk off the job on Friday before the Victoria Day long weekend.

WestJet has said it is offering “additional flexibility” to air travellers ahead of the potential strike action by the airline’s pilots to provide “peace of mind.”
