Former Vice President Mike Pence reaffirmed that former President Donald Trump was wrong about the results of the 2020 election at a presidential campaign rally in New Hampshire on Friday.
"My former running mate continues to insist that I had the right to overturn the election. President Trump was wrong then. He's wrong now," said Pence, now a Republican candidate for the White House.

In January 2021, Trump called on Pence to overturn the results of the 2020 elections, despite Joe Biden winning the election. Pence faced threats to his life when he refused Trump’s extortion, and certified the results.

Trump, who has reportedly been indicted for mishandling classified documents, leads the growing 2024 GOP field.
