This is the final evidence session for the Committee's inquiry into screen time and how it impacts children's education and wellbeing.

The Inquiry will hear from two Ofcom directors and Schools Minister Damian Hinds as the Online Safety Act made Ofcom the regulator for online safety.

The Online Safety Act is one of the government's flagship pieces of legislation that aims to impose rules upon companies like Meta, Apple, and even Wikipedia, with the goal of keeping inappropriate and potentially dangerous content away from vulnerable eyes.

Today's line of questioning looks to assess the regulator's ability to ensure children's safety online.
