Members of 28 governments have endorsed a joint declaration on the need to manage the potentially "catastrophic" risks posed by Artificial Intelligence. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is due to meet with X and Tesla owner Elon Musk.

Asked if the prime minister will make X, formerly Twitter, comply with the new Online Safety Bill, the minister for tech and the digital economy Paul Scully said the government's message to social media companies is to "act now" to comply.
