Live shot of Gaza’s skyline as the latest official number from the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) says 1,200 Israelis have been killed since Saturday's Hamas incursion, with a further 2,700 injured.

As a result of unrelenting retaliatory Israeli strikes on Gaza, around 900 Palestinians have been killed, with 4,500 wounded.
