Watch Israel-Hamas war latest: Truce now in fifth day after extension agreed

Welcome back to our live coverage of the Israel-Hamas war, as a truce between the two sides enters its fifth day.

This was made possible by an agreement yesterday to extend the ceasefire by two days, announced by Qatari and Hamas officials.

The terms of the original deal will be honoured, plus 20 further hostages will be released.

Here are the other key developments that took place over the last 24 hours:

???? Israel welcomed 11 hostages back home - eight children and three women;
But families were split up in the release, with five fathers left in Gaza - causing delays to the exchange
???? 33 Palestinians were freed from Israeli prisons in return;
???? US secretary of state Antony Blinken announced he would make his third visit to Israel since 7 October later this week;
???? A report claimed the head of Hamas spoke in person with some of the hostages inside Gaza;
???? The Palestinian Red Crescent said it was unable to deliver any aid to northern Gaza yesterday.
