Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., on Wednesday questioned gymnasts Simone Biles, McKayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols and Aly Raisman, survivors of abuse perpetrated by former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. Blumenthal asked whether they each knew of other athletes who had been abused by Nassar after July 2015, when the FBI said it was investigating. All four women answered yes. Raisman said she was horrified every time a young girl told her they had gone to Nassar because he had been the doctor for the Olympic athletes. "All we needed was one adult to do the right thing," she said.
