People in Mykolaiv, Ukraine are struggling with an ongoing shortage of clean drinking water after Russia's war destroyed the city's main purified water line.

Artillery battles can be heard booming as people stand patiently holding empty jugs waiting for shipped-in supplies of drinking water.

It's possible to buy water in stores but many of the remaining 250,000 residents still living in Mykolaiv are now unemployed and can't afford to buy bottles.
