After decades of waiting, some residents of the Cowichan Tribes — the largest single First Nation band in British Columbia — finally have clean drinking water.
Members of the Vancouver Island First Nation have been living there since the 1940s, but the community has never had potable water, despite being just two kilometres from the nearest city.
