A dire situation is unfolding in a small Arizona community where residents have been cut off from access to drinking water in the middle of an extensive, ongoing drought.
The unincorporated community of Rio Verde Foothills sits just outside the city of Scottsdale, and until a few weeks ago, it trucked in water from the city. That was until the taps were turned off.
