Venezuela has reopened its land border with Colombia for the first time in almost three years.
President Nicolas Maduro had closed the crossing in 2019 amid a diplomatic rift between the South American neighbours.
Despite the blockade, tens of thousands of Venezuelans had depended on crossing the border for essential goods and services every day.
