Vatican drops investigation into Quebec cardinal, citing lack of evidence

The Vatican announced it will not open a church investigation into Cardinal Marc Ouellet, a former archbishop of Quebec, saying there was insufficient evidence. The statement came following a recent class action accusing Ouellet and 88 other clergy members of sexual abuse and misconduct.
