Several communities across the U.S. Midwest are cleaning up Saturday morning after dozens of tornados touched down across multiple states on Friday.
A tornado warning remained in effect until Friday evening, with the National Weather Service (NWS) tallying over 60 tornado reports across five states.
The NWS said severe weather conditions were likely to persist Saturday, with the possibility of large hail, damaging winds, tornados and flooding.
"Those cleaning up from storms on Friday will want to have a plan for sheltering before storms develop," the NWS added.
