US journalist Danny Fenster on way home after Myanmar release

An American journalist imprisoned in Myanmar for almost six months has been freed, just days after a military court sentenced him to eleven years in prison.
Danny Fenster was arrested in May and convicted last week on charges that included spreading false or inflammatory information and contacting illegal organisations.
Fenster, who arrived in Qatar on Monday evening on his way to the United States, says he will continue to highlight the plight of jailed colleagues in the country, most of whom are Myanmar citizens.

Al Jazeera's Natasha Ghoneim spoke to him on the tarmac after his plane touched down in Doha, Qatar.
