The Copa America semi-final match descended into chaos in the stands after Colombia beat Uruguay 1-0 in a tense game.
After the game, video showed Uruguayan player Darwin Nunez wading into the stands with others and confronting Colombia fans as police personnel tried to keep the two sides apart.
South American governing body CONMEBOL said it was investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Uruguay's coach said he did not see the incident.
